I am an incoming Senior at Gibson Ek High school. I am the co-president of interact! This is my third year in the club and my second year as co-president! I absolutely love all of the work that we do connecting with the community and having a positive impact! Outside of Interact, I love music, social activism, travel, and guitar! I can’t wait for the next year of this amazing club!!

I’m so happy to return as co-president this year!! I have always been passionate about leadership, and being part of Issaquah Interact these past few years has only inspired me more! In my free time I love taking photos and going to concerts! I care about protecting our environment, and want to continue to do sustainability related projects.

I am going into my junior year at Gibson Ek High School. This will be my third year in Interact, and I am beyond excited and even more passionate than ever! I love always working on projects that give back to the community, and meeting new friends from around the area! Outside of interact, I spend my time thrifting, hanging out with friends and taking pictures on my digital camera.

I am an incoming sophomore at Issaquah High School. I am an organized, open minded, dedicated innovator. I love Interact because I get to be involved with my community and I am excited to help in any way! I am involved with theater and do voice lessons outside of school and I enjoy listening to music and being with friends in my free time!

Cassie Howder
Rotarian Advisor/ Founder
Hi, I’m Cassie Howder- an Issaquah Rotary member and advisor to our Interact Club. My journey with Rotary has significantly shaped both my personal and professional life. As a freshman in high school I joined an Interact club, an experience that included an impactful international service trip to Ecuador. This early involvement led to my participation in a Rotary Youth Leadership Award Camp (RYLA) and, later in college, I founded a Rotaract club (young professional version of Rotary).
Rotary ignited my passion for service at a young age and provided me with a much needed mentor, changing the trajectory of my life in the process.
I became the first in my family to graduate from university, earning a degree in marketing and a minor in professional selling. Ive been given numerous opportunities to share my story at various Rotary conferences around the globe over the past 14+ years. A highlight was delivering a keynote address at the 2019 International Convention in Hamburg, Germany, in front of 23,000 attendees. ​
Professionally, I have over 11 years of experience in Business Development, Sales, and Marketing across various industries. I currently work for Girls Gone Strong (GGS) Academy- the industries leading provide of women-specific health and fitness education, certifications and coaching. I love the arts, animals, traveling and spending time outdoors with my partner, Tom and our golden retriever Oveo.
